Invisalign braces are transparent clear braces that use clear plastic trays for teeth alignment. A dentist takes a mold of the patient’s teeth which is then used to create a digital tooth scan. This tooth scan is used to make the aligners that correct teeth positioning.

As these braces are positioned on the back of the teeth they may affect speech during the treatment. Also, mouth sores/ ulcers can be triggered due to the irritation. With Invisalign patients may experience only temporary minor discomforts during the initial stages of the treatment.
• Lingual braces are not removable throughout the treatment duration. Invisalign aligners are removable and are required to be worn for a minimum of 20-22 hours per day only for an effective treatment.
